Producer Ben Silverman, who has taken viewers behind the scenes of an eatery and a hair salon, is looking to go deep inside a Las Vegas dance club. The producer is bringing "The Club" to Spike TV.

The manly cable network has ordered 10 episodes of "The Club" with an eye toward a Tuesday, Oct. 12 premiere.

Silverman ("Blow Out") will reunite with his "Restaurant" partner Robert Riesenberg on "The Club," which will examine ICE, a Vegas nightclub looking to compete with the flashier offerings on The Strip.

The story, such as it is, will focus on owner Ed Williams' attempts to give ICE an overhaul as its first anniversary approaches. He'll recruit noted DJ Paul Okenfold and Hollywood party planner Allison Melnick for an assist.

The show already has a cast of quirky characters in the nightclub. Spike TV is already trying to drum up enthusiasm for Andrea, the wholesome cocktail waitress with the wild side, and Michael, the efficiency expert who likes nothing more than firing unproductive employees.

Following in the product placement-heavy footsteps of "The Restaurant," Heineken and Allied Domecq Spirits have signed on a major sponsors and will provide all of the booze for ICE.
